What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're used to remember your preferences and understand how people use a site.

What does this site use?

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people find and use this site — things like which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. No personal data is sold or shared with anyone.

We also store your consent preference in your browser so the banner doesn't keep appearing. Here's the full list:

No advertising cookies. No tracking pixels. No profiling. No data sold.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics (only with your consent) and load fonts from Google Fonts. Both are Google services — you can read Google's privacy policy for detail on how they handle data.

Consent is managed by Klaro, an open-source consent tool. Klaro itself sets no cookies — it only uses localStorage.

How to manage or change your preferences

You can change your cookie choices at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer of any page.

To clear everything, open your browser settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear browsing data, or run this in your browser console:

localStorage.removeItem('rie_klaro')

Then refresh and the banner will reappear.
